(continued)
.day 2.

the night was raining damn heavily, my tent, me wei xun and alfred woke up at 6 whilst other tents had to rush ot at 5 because their tent were soaking wet. they could've drown in there :S. hhehe. its not that we're good at pitching tents. (especially since there werent any scouts, bleargh. scouts actually look good - for the moment) BUT our tent was the sample tent which KC had showed us how to pitch. so our fly sheet was of standard okay. hehe. in fact it was much cooler than ur aircon. the wet fly sht slapping against the inner tent roofs cause a mist effect in the tents, the kind u get like the restaurant in front of cineleisure? yeah it was cooling!

went to the mph to seek shelter. didnot bath YET. had clean shirts on. well we're deprived of a lot of good clothes for god sake! hehe

so the rain slowed down and we did a little belaying, basically it consists of 5 people. the climber, supporter, belayer, anchor and asst belayer. yeah quite slack actually. then at 1130 like that we were asked to have lunch and packed our bags. whoa. it rained then the sun was freaking hot. shining down on our head. i had packed PART of my bag earlier but i still had a lot more to do. finished packing at around 1230. then the sun was still damn hot. so i decided to take my shower. (lucky i did, u'll find out why)and put on sun block. my bag was at least 20 kg!

at 1, we met KC (btw he is our instructor Kim Chuan=KC) and headed to do our quest of finding four markers aka "casualties". each ranged from 200m-3km apart. we found our first marker in 30 mins but got lost after trying to follow the route to east!. it was really saddening, the jungle looked so big and there was no turning back because if we did we'd get more lost! so we continued hiking, and hiking and hiking.asked KC but all he knows is saying "i dunno" hmpf unfair >P. there were snakes, huge spiders, millipedes, MOSQUITOES! and hell lot of other insects. Strangely, we didnt see any larger animals. maybe it was rahul, he talks to much. lolx.

so as we tracked we saw a glimmer of light. we were damn happy. as we followed the light, it actually lead us to what we thought were concrete roads. and there was a huge piece of muddy swampy area we had to cross. so we were very reluctant to cross. but we decided to in the end and u noe what was at the end? it was a drain! haiyo. so disheartining can. we crossed over the river and reached the other side. but after awhile we eventually saw people running after like 3hrs of hiking. SIGNS of civilisation. and these were army trainees. wait COMANDO trainees. and rahul went shouting "HELP! HELP! WE ARE LOST WE ARE LOST!" oh my god! damn paiseh can? its like he was holding a map and a compass and they were running on road. omfg.

so we reached the land and then everyone was damn tired ready especially the muggers. but KC gave us chance and asked us to find one more clue before we could proceed to our checkpoint. we did not achieve that too because it was too late already, we finally proceeded to the next checkpoint and it was 7 already. it was freaking dark and we reached a reservoir. we thought that was our camp area but hell we were wrong, we tracked into the forest a little more and reached a clearing, here we started pitching tents and it was freaking dark. we ate noodles and tin sausages for the night and it was so dark. there wasn't any light source. the sky was exceptionally red and we were afraid it might raining but eventually found out that the red sky was due to changi's airport activity.

dint sleep well even though i was fatigue. had this big rock under my ass crack. oh yeah and we didnt get to bath so we stinked in the tent

.day 3.

woke up at 515, accidentally fell asleep. (NOTE: ACCIDENTALLY) and woke up at 6, unpitched our tent, went to urine in the bushes and brush our teeth. met KC and off we were to hike to camp 1. the newer, nicer, cleaner, more activity camp. these are for those residential peepz. the hike to an hour and when we reached, we still couldnt bath.

KC showed us our campsite b4 he went. we had to meet at 10 and it was 9. so we quickly wrapped our bags in poncho and ground sheet in case it rains and relaxed. met him and guess what we are doing rock climbing. whoa. it looks damn simple for those who climb but in actual fact it was damn difficult. i saw philbert doing it and i thought well. yeah it should be okay but it was not i put my target as 9m and i thought it was easily attainable. but when i went up for my first attempt, i got only 7m and i slipped and fell and my whole belaying crew got lifted into the air, they needed like 2 extra anchors before i was safely in control and my harness was splitting my "erghem". was a bit dissapointed at first but then i vowed that given a second attempt i could do it. then helped to belay the others ah. i was the best belayer in my watch. then it was my second attempt. this time i made it! i scaled 9.5m and again i slipped. my soles were gone cause of the hike ah. so yeah.

rahul is damn funny, he climbed 2m before giving up its just like lifting ur feet as high as u can and that is 2m. we helped him and he was resting on our hands can? so painful. lolx but nah nvm. he's weak AND balding. lolx

had lunch. heard it was dining hall food and all of a sudden, rahul was the first to be at the dining hall. ate lunch and then we went to do some high rope activity. whoa know what rahul wanted to go first ah so we let him and then i belayed him for the second obstacle course. so he was walking on this tight rope and i tied until damn tight so his groin hurt and released it when he asked me to. so it was so slack he could fall of ah. so he deccided to fall on his own. haha

i went and finished the whole obstacle course in 15mins. it was a little scary at first but generally it was ok. then chun man, ben and wee hao went to do the 7 story thingy, i was damn scared to do ah but UNFORTUNATELY, sigh we dint have time (eh its not that i scared. only got no time. xP)

had dinner and pitched our tents. ate some supper and the SEA expedition crew planned for the canoe-ing tmr. whoa. had a good sleep and woke up at 5 to unpitch our tents. generally, we did not have to cook our food. :D

KC is okay actually, if he had spoonfed us, we would have not experienced and learn.
